Tutor Access Database Installation Notes

  1. Download and unzip the archive to the folder from which you would like to run the database.
  2. Find the shortcut labeled "Writing Center Database."
  3. Right-click this shortcut and choose "Properties."
  4. Edit the following changes to the text in the box labeled "Target" to match your situation:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\YOUR FOLDER\db\tutordb.mde" /excl /wrkgrp "H:\YOUR FOLDER\db\System.mdw"

When you run the database, you will be prompted to located a file named "database_backend.mdb." This file resides in the "db" folder under your installation folder.
