What do I do when I suspect academic plagiarism?

Tips for Faculty

  • Contact the Academic Honesty Office for Advice
  • Do not accuse the student if you lack evidence.
  • Make copies of the documents and keep the originals safe.
  • Meet with the student.
  • Do not make your decision on the spot.
